This webinar shows how collaboration between engineers and elite athletes can not only improve the state-of-the-art in aerodynamics’ research, but also impact people’s quality of life and help winning gold medals.

The speakers on the day included Mark Rohan, a gold-winning para-cyclist and former Gaelic football and wheelchair basketball player, and Dr. Paul Mannion, an expert engineer in aerodynamics’ simulation.

This event was organised by the School of Engineering Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee at NUI Galway and supported by Engineers Ireland West, Ryan Institute and MaREI Research Centre.
